Attendees must have a DoD PMP CAC card or a DoD access badge to enter the Mark Center. Attendees without a DoD PMP CAC card will need to go through the Visitor's Center (VCC) to obtain a Visitor's Badge prior to class.
Inclement Weather Policy
Classes are cancelled only if the Federal Government is closed. If we are operating on a 2 hour delayed opening, class time will not change. Due to high demand for conference center space, we are unable to delay scheduled classes.

New Training Class
The Directives Division will be offering a training class focusing on how to use and navigate the DoD issuance template and its features. The class will take place on August 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on MS Teams, and space is limited to 20 attendees. Register for 8/12/21 (by 8/11/21).
Classes Now Online
All scheduled training classes will be conducted online until further notice. Space is limited to 20 attendees per class.
Until further notice all classes will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) in MS Teams.
The Directives Division will be hosting back-to-back DoD Issuances Process and Writing DoD Issuances Classes over the course of 2 mornings. The back-to-back classes are available to all DoD personnel who are involved in writing and processing DoD issuances. Attendees will learn about the issuance types; how each issuance type must be structured; how to organize their material; and how to move their issuance though the DoD Issuance Process.
All Writing DoD Issuances Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) on the first morning.
All DoD Issuances Process Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) on the second morning.
Attendees are welcome to sign up for one or both classes.
Getting Your DoD Issuances Through the System
This class explains how to move issuances through the DoD issuance process and is available to all DoD personnel who are involved in the processing of an issuance, or expect to begin processing an issuance in the near future. The class takes place at the Mark Center Conference Center and is offered monthly. (Until further notice, this class will be offered on MS Teams).
How to Write a DoD Issuance
This class is open to OSD action officers who write DoD issuances. Attendees will learn about the issuance types; their different sections; how each issuance type must be structured and what information appears where; how to organize their material; and the fundamentals of plain writing. The class takes place at the Mark Center Conference Center and is offered monthly. (Until further notice, this class will be offered on MS Teams).
